The fourth annual British Motoring Festival is taking place
July 19 - 21, 2013 and once again we will be able to enjoy the
beautiful Kings Edgehill School campus in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
The three day event will be much like last year's successful event with
great cars, motorcycles, trucks and even tractors, and we will once again
enjoy English cuisine, art work and gifts.
Friday evening there is a wine and cheese for registrants, Saturday has
the show with public viewing from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday
morning we have the tour with a stop at a local winery and finish the
weekend with a complimentary lunch nearby.
This year we are celebrating the 65th year of Land Rovers and the
60th of Austin Healey production, and we expect a good number of
each will be on display.
Once again, folks can enjoy the town walk showing historic properties,
the model airplane displays, a car corral, an afternoon English Tea, a
comedy show by our local talent, and a best dressed competition.
This year we are encouraging participants and the public to dress up in
traditional English costume - the fashion of the '40s, '50s, or '60s - and a
prize will be awarded.
Please mark the dates in your calendar and start planning your
attire now.
