The Annual General Meeting for the British Motoring Festival took place on Oct. 22nd,
2011. With this meeting done, director’s reports filed, financial reports accepted, we are
ready to start looking and planning ahead for 2012, and the THIRD British Motoring
Festival! It will take place on the Kings-Edgehill school grounds once again, and we have
secured the dates of the weekend of July 20th, 21st and 22nd, 2012. The main show
date, and the one that is open to the public, is Saturday, July 21st.
We are thrilled to say that the 84th Regiment of Foot will be back with us again! Those of you who did not get the chance to see them in 2010, should definitely make the effort to do so in 2012. Also returning will be the Nova Scotia Cricket players, the Model Airplane group from Truro, Mr. Bean and his girlfriend, and the Thistle dancers –who were rained out this year- but are hoping on making it for 2012.
Food on the Saturday will be once more provided by the Volunteer Firefighters of Windsor who have remained as our strong supporters of the festival. Also returning, and providing an English spin on food, will be Delish Fine Foods from Tantallon.

We are also going to add an Update Link which will inform you of any news that occurs closer to the actual date. This way, you can keep abreast of the changes almost as soon as we know them! Finally, our registration page will be up and running as soon as we have our prices set for 2012. Stay tuned - your committee has already got their noses to the grind, and have more up their sleeves, to provide you with another exciting Festival!
