British Motoring Festival
Tenth Annual British Motoring Festival - July 12-14, 2019 - King's-Edgehill School, Windsor, Nova Scotia

Applying for John Twist Tech Session

John will be on hand for Friday night at the Festival for a meet and greet at the Spitfire Arms. Saturday he will be performing his famous rolling tech session on 20 cars on the Kings Edgehill grounds. He will spend about 20-25 minutes on each car. Likely he will adjust your carbs and set your timing and diagnose any problems you are having. John specializes in MGs, but had done a lot of work on other marques as well. Owners of MG's, Triumphs, Healeys, non-fuel-injection Jags and other marques are encouraged to sign up. The per car fee is $50.00 payable to the BMF.

On Sunday John along with Peter Osborne will put on a tuning session at Village Green Motors, at the beautiful location on Novalea Drive in Halifax. This will take up most of the day with an anticipated start time of mid-morning. Light refreshments will be served. The seminar will cover all aspects of engine maintenance. This seminar has been put on all over the US and also in the UK by John to great reviews. It will be hands on and limited to 20 attendees. The cost will be $100.00 per person. It sounds like a lot but you will learn more than you think.

Please, when filling out your application form<, indicate whether you are interested in either or both of these two events. Because we want to be fair to all and because these events will be oversubscribed, we are going to pool all names and conduct a draw on June 29th to see whose car is being done and who is coming to the seminar. If you are lucky in the draw you have 7 days to get your money in to Bob Burns (address on the application form). Failing that, replacement names will be drawn. These folks can pay on site at Windsor or Halifax.

Good luck! This will be a year to remember!

Come for the cars. Stay for the fun!
